Enkindle Consulting is excited to be partnering with Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) on a new telehealth project aimed at supporting senior Australians across North Queensland with better access to their GPs and other primary health care professionals.

The project is focused on increasing the uptake of telehealth consultations for older persons, with a particular emphasis on assessing what support is needed by aged care facilities to improve their telehealth digital capability and capacity.

As part of the project, NQPHN is calling for expressions of interest from Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) and Multipurpose Health Centres across the Torres and Cape, Cairns and Hinterland, Townsville, and Mackay regions to participate in an evaluation of their telehealth digital capability and capacity.

By working with these facilities, Enkindle Consulting and NQPHN aim to identify the key challenges and opportunities in delivering telehealth services to seniors in the region. This will include assessing the digital infrastructure and support available to aged care facilities, as well as identifying strategies to improve the uptake and effectiveness of telehealth consultations among seniors.

Enkindle Consulting is committed to supporting NQPHN in this important initiative, which has the potential to make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of seniors across North Queensland.
